Sometimes you have the fortune of seeing something awesome happen when everyone else leaves the room. During a time that we called “The Summer Of The Purps” we decided to get a group together to watch the original Willy Wonka and eat Wonka candy. We (myself and a cute blonde – yes I added that) literally bought every Wonka made candy at the store.
Roughly 30 minutes into the movie, as the novelty wore off, the room started to clear out. Left – myself, two young men about to leave for the military, my close friend B, and a $300 two foot clear glass gravity bong.
As B and I sat quietly on the floor we came witness to the greatest coaching of a smoke sesh, ever.
The older of the two young men packed the gravity bong for his friend. He explained how it worked, lit the bowl, pulled up - loading the chamber with smoke, and stepped back.
His friend went in for the kill.
“TAKE IT TO THE HEAD! TAKE IT TO THE HEAD! TAKE IT TO THE HEAD! YOU’RE FUCKED!”
