It wasn’t until yesterday that I realized the story of Victoria’s Secret founder, Roy Raymond, was not as known as I had originally concluded. This realization came while I was shopping in the PINK section of VS with the owner of One Lyfe. This is where I tell you – we are both male and we were buying outfits for two girls we hired for a video shoot. After we managed to get past a discussion of size two vs. size four I mentioned the story of the Victoria’s Secret. Even though a tragic tail in the end, I have always been inspired by Mr. Raymond’s original idea and business model for Victoria’s Secret. Here is a brief history of how VS began and how a life was ended too soon.
