Here is a list of things you can do to put a little pep in your days.  Some things you may want to do every day while others are more suitable when utilized at random.  None the less, you still put yourself in a better place by making small changes and trying new things.  Its your lyfe, take control!

  • Video chat with an old friend
  • Do 20 sit ups and 20 push ups
  • Call a parent just to say a quick ‘hello’
  • Listen to music before bed to take your mind off the day
  • Squeeze fresh orange juice
  • Find a weekly event to be a part of
  • Read the funny section of the newspaper
  • Stretch when you wake up
  • Air guitar/drum to your favorite song
  • Ride the old skateboard to the store
  • Prank phonecall your best friend and then call them back to laugh about it
  • Sit outside, close your eyes, and breathe
  • Change the background on your computer
  • Put a plant on your nightstand
  • Buy new socks
  • Sleep until you naturally wake up
  • Smile at a stranger
  • Last minute boys/girls night
  • Relax over hot chocolate or tea
  • Sing out loud
  • Draw funny faces on people in a magazine
  • Watch movies all day
  • Ask ‘how’ questions instead of ‘why’
  • Get a visible words of encouragement tattoo
  • Take a minute and enjoy silence
